I’ve been wondering for a while now about how to go about opening up an online bank account with which i can buy/sell stocks online. I mean i want to buy and sell MYSELF, i don’t want to go to a brokerage firm. I want to handle my own money myself.

1) Trading over long term(investor type), low investment too.
2) Low brokerage cost.
3) Market research not an issue, my sources are personal.
4) NSE/BSE? trading should be allowed.
5) Basically hassel free services.
Can anyone suggest online trading sites fitting the bill.
