Is it possible that profiting from war –either through expansion of powers or deepening of bank accounts– might give one an incentive to promote a war?

So I think swing trading may be the trading strategy I want to go with when I start investing in the stock market. What are some good books I can read about swing trading to better my knowledge?

I am planning to invest around 30000USD in online stock trading. I have been doing active trading for last 3-4 years or so and was taking some break due to bad times. As I have more time to do day trading I am investing this 30000$. I am hoping to earning atleast 300$ per trading day, doing day trading. I understand there will be ups and downs but I will be content to have 300$ per day profit on average. Please let me know, if I am thinking feasible and also if you have any stragtegy to suggest. Any experience sharing will be of great help. Thanks!

How would buying a stock work? I pay a fee for the stock, and pay for the current share price? Once I bought the stock, do I have to keep making payments on it???
Also, what is a good stock trading company. I see all these companies like scotttrade and all that, I just want a company that I can buy my stocks from and not have to pay a ton of fees and what not…
